one of my favorite shows right now is smiling friends

i am probably a sicko freak that should not be allowed to participate in civil societies, not fit to pontificate or procreate but perhaps sane enough to buy stocks, but i really love this cartoon. its to the point i am genuinely tweaking and confronting my roommates to ask if they taped over the dvr recording of the latest smiling friends episode. not yelling at them but expressing my "hey man, next time please don't tape over smiling friends"-ness. the autismosis is unreal and unabridged as i will tell it now.

charlie

i really like charlie because he's just a chill cool guy. i like that he's a fat 30 year old fantasy nerd that buys replica swords. i like that he's a catholic but seemingly one of those dudes who was raised catholic and only goes to mass on high holidays. i like that he has a big ass nose that's consistently abused (torn, sucked, etc). he does this thing that makes me laugh where he winds himself up about something but then slowly winds down when he's told it's not realistic. this happened when he got really excited about the tony hawk alien game and got the idea of of possibly torrenting it, and as pim is like yeahhh i dunno man that's probably gonna be difficult because its an alien game, charlie goes oh, y-yeah you're -- yeah you're probably right. yeah. sorry.

i love how excitable he is! he is so cute when he goes heeeello! he's like mrs doubtfire lol. i thought it was really sweet in the season one halloween episode where he sweetly kissed that little birdie who sang with him. he's like a little snow white. he's admirable because he often takes all the batshit evil things that happens to him in stride, and always tries to say something nice to people. he is such a perfect fit for the smiling friends as an institution. his earnest kindness is really refreshing.
